Your Hardest Chapters Are
Evidence of Your Calling.

Most people run from their pain. This guide walks you back through it — on purpose — because the things that hurt you, shaped you. In one honest sitting, you’ll turn your story into a written purpose statement and see what it means for your love, your work, and your life.

Name the Chapter You Usually Skip.

Nobody grades this. Nobody sees this. Write like it’s just you and the page — because it is. The more honest you are here, the more accurate your purpose reads at the end.

1. What is the hardest chapter of your story so far?
A season, an event, a loss, a home, a diagnosis, a failure. Name it plainly — a few sentences is enough.
2. What did that chapter cost you — and what did it teach you?
Required · Both halves matter. The cost is real. So is the curriculum.
3. Which wounds do you know best?
Choose up to three. These are the languages your pain taught you to speak — and the people you’ll one day serve speak them too.

Stage Two · Pattern

Your Life Has Been Leaving Clues.

Pain is the raw material. Pattern is what your life keeps doing with it — the thread that shows up in every season, every job, every friendship, whether you planned it or not.

1. What do people always come to you for?
Not your job title. The thing friends, family, even strangers seek you out for — advice, calm, honesty, ideas, help getting unstuck.
2. What problem or injustice makes you angry enough to act?
Holy anger is a compass. What do you see in the world — or in people’s lives — that you cannot just scroll past?
3. Which of these sounds most like what you find yourself doing — again and again?
Choose the one that feels most true across your whole life, not just this season.
Choose the pattern that fits you best before continuing.
